What is your website
quietly costing you?
Put your address in. In about five seconds you will see exactly what a visitor runs into — broken photos, pages that will not load on a phone, the things Google cannot read. Plain English, no jargon, and no email needed to see it.
It reads your homepage the way a browser would. Nothing is changed, nothing is stored beyond the result, and you are not signed up to anything.
What the eight tests look at
- Looking up the domain. The address resolves to a server at all.
- Fetching the homepage. It answers, and how many milliseconds that took.
- Checking the certificate. The padlock is valid, and how long until it expires — a lapsed one puts a full-screen warning in front of every visitor.
- Testing the secure redirect. Plain
http://is sent tohttps://, so nobody lands on an unencrypted copy. - Checking it works on a phone. The page lays out for a phone rather than shrinking a desktop to the width of a thumb.
- Measuring how fast it loads. Time to the first byte from the server, which is the part hosting controls.
- Reading what Google reads. A title, a description and structured data — the headline and blurb in a search result, and the facts an AI assistant can quote.
- Looking through the page itself. Broken images, placeholder text left in, dead links, and a page with no way to get in touch.
These are the plumbing. Most sites that fail one fail three, and none of it shows from the owner's chair — the site looks fine on the laptop it was built on.
Who this is for
Any business with a website, though it was built for the trades, practices and shops around Fort Worth, TX that we work with day to day. Put a competitor's address in if you like. It reads the homepage the way a browser would, so it works on any site, anywhere.
